ABOUT

Diane is originally from the Bay Area. She discovered her love for horses after her family moved to the Belgian countryside when she was 12 years old. She started cleaning stalls in exchange for lessons and spent most of her free time learning more about horse husbandry. By the time she was ready to go to college, she knew she wanted to work with horses, but wasn’t sure in what capacity.

Diane attended the university of California, Davis and majored in Animal Science. She was lucky enough to land a job working in a research lab with several amazing veterinarians who, along her bestie, inspired her to apply to veterinary school.

Diane completed an internship at Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center prior to returning to UC Davis for her medicine residency, which she completed in 2014. Diane’s professional interests including equine medicine, ophthalmology and critical care. When not at the clinic, Diane loves to travel and enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, skiing, running and soccer.
