Welcome

Conveniently located in the community of Penryn, California, just northeast of Sacramento, we are a practice unique to the area. We are the largest privately-owned facility between San Francisco and Reno offering hospitalization, surgery and intensive care for horses. We hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about our doctors, staff, facilities, and services. You can also find valuable free information in our educational library and learn about our fully stocked equine pharmacy, and our EQ Protect programs.

Meet the partners.

Drs. Langdon Fielding, Catherine Jacobs, and Diana Stolba are co-owners of LBEMC. These three doctors bring a combination of specialty training and are focused on continuing-education, client care, and a commitment to quality healthcare for horses.
