Catherine decided she wanted to become an equine veterinarian when she realized that she wasn’t a brave enough rider to become a “pro”, but for a brief time in high school wasn’t sure if her career choice would work out because initially she would faint at the sight of blood.

Catherine did her undergraduate work in New York, and then came to UC Davis for Veterinary School. She graduated in 2002 with Dr. Fielding and Dr. Errico.

Catherine is married and has two children, an older boy and younger girl. Catherine enjoys riding her young warmblood gelding with her daughter who has also recently been bitten by the “horse bug”.

Catherine enjoys preventative healthcare for horses and has a special interest and focus Equine Reproduction, including breeding with cooled and frozen semen, embryo transfer, and building our Stallion services.
