Lindsay Knott

DVM

ABOUT

Dr. Lindsay Knott is originally from Long Island, New York. She is a life-long “horse girl”, breaking, training, and competing with hunter/jumper horses from a young age. Lindsay was constantly following the vet around the farm, and by the time she finished elementary school, Lindsay knew she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Lindsay completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Binghamton University and continued to the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with awards in both equine medicine and surgery (but surgery was way more fun!).

After graduation in 2017, Lindsay completed internships at both Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery in Weatherford TX, and Louisiana State University.

After completing two internships, Lindsay continued to Michigan State University for a Large Animal Surgery Residency, which was completed in 2022.

Lindsay’s professional interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, lameness, and post-operative rehabilitation.

When not in the clinic, Lindsay enjoys hiking and the great outdoors, crossfit, yoga, traveling, and running around with her Jack Russell tripod pup, Wesley.
